The Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Marshall, Texas
always has a big Christmas Kick-off! This year,
Corey came with us to be a part of the celebration.

The guests of honor, Santa and Mrs Clause
arrived by firetruck!
They even had a band!
the Marshall courthouse, covered in lights!
They really get the season started off right!

And then Around Christmas, we took a long weekend
with our buds Bobby and Carol Dvorak, and drove to
the Texas Hill Country, enjoying all the old school decorations.

Waiting for Santa...
Yes, we've been good!
And you know, when we travel, there's always great chow!
Some of these small towns go all out!
Ruddy pulling Santa with his ski-boat...
and a bunch of merry elves!
Not pictured: our stop at Luckenbach, because
what happens in Luckenbach...well. you know.

And be sure to ask Linda or CJ about
the World Championship of Spades!
We hosted our annual Eggnog party, and had a great turnout!
I don't even know how these three ended up together?
my photogenic family...
good friends, the Weavers and the Driggers
Rick Self's hand, his mom Carrie and his wife Mandy, with Carol D.
Becky G showing off (some of) her granddaughters
Like father, like son..
Story time with Uncle Corey
We're too busy for a story
Some of the lovely ladies
You're never too old to Rock and Roll
the Original Team Shaw
Getting ready for the Sweet-Os picture
And Take One
And Take Two. Notice how all the girls look exactly the same
in both pictures, while the boys are now paying attention.
The Clarks
The Twins with the Hubbys
Me, with some Rastafarian dude from Jamaica,
Dr C and Dan'l the Lip. No, wait...that's Matt!
The Ebanks
The Keiths
Larry and G Grandma
Ruth with MaKynna, her newest great grandchild!
I hardly know what to say...
The Family Christmas Portrait
And Take Two
What Sweeties!
It's just a guess, but I may be liking this more than he is...
Uncle Corey with MaKynna. Look at those smiles!
Christopher Churchmouse, with a couple of buds.
Linda, showing off her custom hoodie!
Getting ready for some TV watching in the floor...
Belly sliding down the stairs (don't tell their Mom)
And look at these two in their Christmas PJs,
with their friend the Churchmouse.
Finally, New Years Eve!
Should Old Acquaintances Be Forgot? Never!
The first picture of the old band in about 40 years.
Wow!
And Take Two.

As everyone knows, Bath Time is Happy Time!
I found these pics from last Christmas, but they're still worth a look.
Notice how Savannah never moves, while Jameson and Spencer are never still!
