The Great State Fair of Texas

For the last few years, (ever since our friend Carol Jane got a quilt
in the Texas State Fair), Linda has entered something she has made.
And every year, she gets something chosen for display.
Actually, this year she placed two items! So, the kids met us at the fair...
The weather was perfect.
Jameson tells Uncle Corey, " It's too nice for a hat!"
This is the beautiful smocked dress that won a red ribbon,
with The Seamstress and Savannah, the little model, and the rightful owner!
Here's Spencer and his belly button,
with Mimi and his prize winning Christmas stocking!
It's the green one with Santa & the grandfather clock!
No trip to the fair would be complete without a few rides!
The two Jamesons...
Savannah is doing some serious driving (of course it had to be the pink car),
with silly Uncle Corey. I've got another picture of these two
where he doesn't look so brave.

It looks like Jameson has taken a break from steering,
while the pink car is gaining on them!
Just Monkeying around
It really wouldn't be a Fun House if you just walked out!
There's nothing quite like Fair Food,
unless it's deep fried cream gravy, wrapped in bacon
Hmmm...bacon...

The eyes tell the whole story.
And now....Nap Time!
So Long Big Tex, see ya next year!
